The Merlin Photo Gallery provides an excellent method to display your photographs and pictures. It can also be used to show pictures from a contributing community.

| The Public Gallery |
Link the Merlin Photo Gallery to your website. Your site visitors
will see:
- A table of contents of all albums - in an expandable tree structure. Photos listed under each album.
- Optional table of contents by contributor. See who the photographers are an what they have produced.
- Click an album and get thumbnails of all pictures in the album.
- Click a picture and get the enlarged picture with description,
photographer.
- Pictures automatically sized for window size.
- Forward and backward scroll buttons to move through your album.
- "Slide show" button to automatically move through all pictures.
Viewer-configurable settings control how fast.
- Pop slide show into full screen presentation.

| User Management |
The photo gallery offers several ways in which users can participate.
Options include
- Full-access public gallery -
users can both register on the site and/or view the gallery.
Registered users can upload pictures.
- Restricted public gallery - users needing upload privileges
must be pre-registered by the administrator. No restrictions on
viewing the gallery.
- When a registered user logs on to the photo gallery, options open
to:
- Upload a picture. Picture sized automatically for thumbnail
and Internet viewing.
- Enter a title.
- Enter an unlimited description/notes.
- Enter the photographer (who gets the credit).
- Option to allow users to download the original size for
printing, etc.
- Enter the date and time of the photograph.
- Select which albums to place the picture in.
- Modify and delete their own pictures.

| Administration |
The account administrator has complete control over
all forum content - through the Merlin backoffice.
- View all albums and pictures in an expandable
tree structure.
- Add or delete albums.
- Select order of pictures within an album - by title, date, or
a user-defined order field.
- Upload pictures into any album - under any registered member ID.
- Remove albums and individual pictures.
- Customize scripts that will be displayed on the gallery home page.
- View, add, modify, delete participants - in an expandable tree
structure.
