The Merlin backoffice provides a powerful editing tool to directly edit HTML pages and upload images. FTP service supported to easily upload your pages to the Merlin server.
Site Activity Reports	Merlin has serveral reports that will give you an accurate picture on how many people are accessing your website. Reports include: User Activity Report - Shows number of daily visitors, number of page hits, total site hits, and total network traffic. Can be displayed in a report or as a graph. An excellent indicator of how busy your site is. Daily Log Report - Shows the IP addresses that have connected. Includes first connection date and page hits by IP. Page Activity Report - Shows how many times each page in your site is getting hit. A great way to show the most popular pages! HTTP Error Report - Provides a log of all errors encountered as users browse your site. Picks up bad links and "page not found" errors - making it easy for you to make an "error-free" site.
Server-Side Scripts	Merlin's scripting language is MultiBase - a language derived from the popular dBASE and FoxBASE database languages. We are constantly adding scripts for our clients to allow them to add more powerful features to their web sites. Some popular scripts include: Site search by keyword - allows users to enter keywords to search the site for matching pages. We provide the scripts to add to the web pages. In addition, we have tools in the backoffice to allow you to create search indexes from your web pages. Contact form - create a form requesting information from your users and use our script to automatically email the user input data. Can be used for any data. Server-side "Includes" - makes it easy to create page headers and footers that plug in automatically into all the pages of your web site. This saves you from having to duplicate header/ footer code throughout your site.
